Created by a professional sharpener who was tired of dealing with the clumsiness and heaviness of the old-fashioned hone he was forced to use because it was all he had available to him, inventor Robert Curtis built a lightweight, portable hone that he could use literally anywhere.

First he added variable speed control. Then he added a way to charge the unit from the car. Next he added more power sources and a more powerful motor. Today this clever little machine packs a whole lot of power, and it can be used in salons, in kitchens, pizza parlors, barber shops and anywhere else a professional sharpener would roam.
